Encuéntrame QR
A steel QR tag that gets lost pets home, and the system holding it up.

What it is
A steel tag with a laser-etched QR code that hangs from the pet’s collar. Whoever scans it sees the animal’s profile without installing anything or creating an account, and the owner gets an alert with the exact location of the scan.
The problem
A microchip is useless if the person who finds the dog has no reader, and a tag engraved with a phone number goes stale the day you change that number.
The solution
The data lives on an editable web page and the tag itself never changes. The owner updates the phone number, the vet or the medical record whenever they want, without re-manufacturing anything.
What I built
- Scan log with date, time and location on a map.
- Lost mode, alerting users within a 5 km radius.
- Automatic generation of an A4 search poster as PDF and a card-sized ID sheet.
- Full medical record: allergies, conditions, blood type, weight, microchip and vet.

Outcome
Twenty months of development before the first sale, and seven months of trading since. It is the most honest number in this portfolio, which is why it is not buried: a product of your own that actually sells does not appear over a weekend.
