Working together
What do you need from me to start?
Time in the first meeting, and the content: copy, photos, a logo if you have one, and prices if the system uses them. What delays a project most is not the development — it is waiting for the content.
What if I do not like the design?
Before any code, I show you the visual direction and we adjust it there. That is built into the process: revisions during design, at no cost. What is not included is rebuilding everything once it is already built.
Do you work alone?
I do the development myself, which is why you always talk to the person writing the code. For graphic design, content and strategy I bring in the Clyra Studio team.
Do you only do the website, or the system behind it too?
Both, and that is the difference. Most of my projects are not websites: they are the system the business runs on every day.
Do you work with clients in other cities or abroad?
Yes. Most of my clients are on the coast, but remote works fine. Video calls do the job just as well.
Money and timelines
How long does a project take?
A professional site: two to four weeks from the moment I have the content. A platform with payments and an admin panel: one to three months. A custom management system depends on scope, and we pin that down in the proposal before starting.
How does payment work?
50% to start and 50% on delivery, by bank transfer. Long projects get split into stages. Dollar figures are converted at the average rate on the day.
Does the price include domain and hosting?
No. Those are third-party costs and I always list them separately, so you know exactly what you are paying and to whom.
After handover
Who owns the code?
You do. Once the project is finished and paid for, the code and the data belong to the client. I can leave it all in your own repository.
What happens after handover?
You can keep the monthly maintenance (server, security, backups and improvements) or take everything and run it yourself. Both are fine, and I hold nothing back.
