Tablero de produccion

What it is

The internal operating system of a print shop handling a high daily volume of orders.

The problem

Customer files arrived over WhatsApp and email, with nowhere to see what had been printed, what had been paid and what was still to be delivered. Quoting each job was a manual calculation repeated hundreds of times a week.

The solution

A board where an order exists end to end, and a quoting engine the owner configures once and which then works on its own against whatever file the customer uploads.

What I built

  • Kanban production board.
  • Order codes.
  • Automatic file retention.
  • Payments through MercadoPago Checkout Pro.
  • Automatic quoting: the owner loads her prices by paper type, colours, finishes and weight, and the system quotes the customer’s uploaded files by itself.
  • Automatic 15% discount on double-sided jobs, and surcharges by paper weight.

Outcome

The print shop stopped quoting by hand. An order comes in through the site, gets priced automatically against the rates the owner loaded, gets paid, and lands on the production board with its code. The system runs every day, on its own domain.
